Jamaica Kincaid
Jamaica Kincaid is the author of the shot story we have recently read entitled, "Girl". Ms. Kincaid is a author of novels, short stories, and non fiction that relate to past relationships, personal history, gender and race. Although, she dropped out of college, Ms. Kincaid has been very successful. She work for Ingenue, a teen magazine and the Village Voice. She later wrote as a staff writer for the New Yorker, has written over several books, and is now a visiting lecturer at Harvard University.
